The Honorable Jon Kyl (R-AZ) served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1987 to 1995 and in the U.S. Senate from 1995 to 2013.  Following the death of Senator John McCain in August 2018, Jon Kyl was appointed by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey to fill the Senate vacancy.  Senator Kyl resigned from Congress in December 2018.
